About Harriet
Based in Southern California, USA, Harriet works as a Senior Product Designer at Route working in the e-commerce space. With 4+ years of expertise in UX design, motion design, prototyping, and accessibility compliance training, Harriet has proven track record of leading and executing projects that significantly transform brand identity and elevate the B2B and B2C user experience for a growing e-commerce user base.
Harriet previously worked as a designer at Composite Apps↗, American Express↗, as well as a UX engineer who specialized in React.js for a series of startups across her UCSD campus orgs and alumni network for tuition and coffee money.
Education
Harriet obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Human Computer Interaction under the Cognitive Science department, with a minor in Computer Science from the University of California - San Diego.
From 2016 to 2017, Harriet worked as an undergraduate research assistant in a comparative cognition lab↗, for which she conducted academic literature research, field testing, as well as collected quantitative and qualitative data as a team player.
From 2017 to 2019, Harriet worked as web developer for the UC San Diego Bookstore↗.
In 2018, Harriet also served as an undergraduate teaching assistant for Introductory Statistics and Data Manipulation in R & R-Studio.
