Responsibilities
I worked as a Webmaster for the UC San Diego Bookstore for a year and a half while completing my bachelor degree. I Implemented responsive designs for e-commerce store using HTML & CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Bootstrap. My main responsibilities included:
Converting complex PSD graphics to responsive HTML web content for Search Engine Optimization,
Designing and developing dynamic homepages and secondary pages to increase user retention rate,
Debugging and maintaining web pages,
Managing Email sign-up and newsletter distribution with third party application
Back-end data maintenance and migration
Photographing and editing collegiate retail products.
Web Design & Development
Hours/Location
Previously, the Marketing team made a graphic poster for store hours. I built a responsive webpage with HTML5, CSS, and Bootstrap3, so that it can be easily updated by the marketing department using a simple WYSIWYG editor.
Coffee Chat
I developed a new look for the Coffee & Book Chat Program, which has been featured monthly on the homepage.
Marketing Collateral
I produced promotional digital content for our Instagram.
